I accidentally wrote this review for the wrong establishment a month ago. Here is the review.

I've been to this location a dozen times before and never had a bad experience. The staff has always been great, even when I have personally witnessed customers behaving badly.

Today, we were seated quickly [Yay Spring Break!] and our server Justin, was quick and attentive. The food was good, hot and exactly as ordered. Bring a light jacket, its a bit chilly in the dining area.

Waited a long time to get menus. Too long. Swedish crepes arrived undercooked and rubbery. First time this happens at an IHOP.  English muffin with no butter had butter on it. We asked for no butter.  Poached eggs soft came out medium to hard.
Place was super noisy with children yelling.  No parental supervision so-not IHOP s fault.
Probably not returning based on swedish  crepes and overall lackadaisical cooking.

This is an update to my review. I called corporate because the management at this ihop did nothing for me. I got a customer service guy who was very nice. I received a claim number and was told somebody above the managers would call me. I never received a call. Clearly ihop doesn't care about its customers. Done with this place. On the bright side (since my husband still loves pancakes), we decided to try out The Original Pancake House in White Plains on 170 Hamilton Ave. So thrilled we did! Amazing fresh food and coffee! My family kept ordering more items-everything was so delicious! The server was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. Completely different from my experience at ihop! Thanks ihop for helping us find our new breakfast place!

I recently had the most amazing, serendipitous takeout dining experience, when my girlfriend and I went to iHop on Central Avenue in Hartsdale, NY!  The excitement began with some deliciously crafted and quite unexpected dinner theater!  Unfortunately we pulled in halfway through the show, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves none-the-less.  Not to ruin the surprise for future guests, but the show was themed in the classic police/street crime drama.  Law and Order SVU is our guilty little pleasure when vegging on the couch at home, so you can imagine our delight!  In this particular scene, there was a large man, the antagonist of the ensemble no doubt, being arrested in front of a crowd of his cohorts.  Very realistic!  The arresting officers backup hadn't arrived and it was a very tense scene.  They even employed local police to act the scene out.  There wasn't any parking so we actually got to slowly and carefully drive past the actors, to a desolate spot in the back.  Tres spooky, well done iHop.  They make you feel like a part of the show!!  After locking my girlfriend and valuables in the car, I walked inside to get our order.  We were so excited for the added value of our takeout experience so far, I thought, maybe we should dine-in?  Nay, the service is so good here that I had to basically climb through the dozen or so audience members waiting to be seated in the small front hallway.  Supply and demand folks, supply and demand.  Silly me, I should have ordered sooner, but I digress.  When I finally crawled , climbed, and spelunked to the front cashier to grab my order, I met my only disappointment of the day.  ::::::::::Spoiler Alert::::::::: Unfortunately the manager ruined the dinner show's plot when he was laughing with a waiter about how the antagonist touched a little girl, which was the setup for the arrest scene we navigated through upon arrival.  Ugh, I so wanted to catch the whole play start to finish but I guess I can wait until the next production begins.  Anyway, the best part of our experience.  When leaving the antagonist was staring at me and cursing.  Oooh, I do love dinner theater when the cast interacts with the audience.  Totes my fav!  Reminds me of breakfast with the characters at Disney World.  I took in the ambiance and scenery, and joyfully retreated to my locked vehicle.  The very last surprise - the food.  Have a look at how close the real thing resembles the menu pic for yourselves.  5 stars.  Bravo iHop, bravo!!!!!!!!

I normally I'd give this place three stars because the pancakes for reliably and consistently good. There potatoes are adequate in no matter what form they take. Perhaps not surprisingly, the food is generally quite fresh. Nevertheless, without fail, whenever I go there is a huge line.

Today though there were a total of three people in the restaurant.

To improve my otherwise lugubrious spirits I ordered mozzarella sticks and they were actually crisp and soft inside and flavorful.

The hot chocolate was made with milk and was delightfully flavored, partially due to the huge cap of whipped cream.

I got some toothsome corned beef hash that was not what I expected, in that it had some sort of mystery mustardy sauce and it sort of wasn't what I was expecting.  The corned beef was a little on the dry side and the potatoes a little more greasy than I might have hoped.

The noise levels were fine seeing that we were only 3 of the 6 people eating in the restaurant, and it seemed as though the other table might have been friends or family of one or more of the people that work there. The backslapping and loud chortle, hooting and hollering serving as the sine qua non of this.
